Just made this and thought I’d share:
*I don’t really measure anything, just throw it all together. Have fun with cooking!
-Raw sunflower seeds
-Raw pumpkin seeds
-Spices: I used garlic, onion, chili, cumin, cayenne, and a little worcestershire sauce……
-Little oil to make the seasonings ‘stick’
-Spread out on a cookie sheet or what have you
-Bake at 325F til the smell drives you crazy and you simply must eat! Be careful though, there’s a fine line between toasted and burnt:)
These should make a good snack thrown in a baggie in the diaper bag or purse. J-man actually kept sneaking them from the pan as they were cooling. That’s a good sign.
You could probably take this to the sweet side with some cinnamon and nutmeg, but I’m more of a salty/savory kinda grrl.
